        Continuing, the University President implored
administrators, alumni, retirees, members of the clergy,
the NCU Board and the community to recognise the
value of NCU to Manchester, Jamaica, the Caribbean
and the world. He asked them to commit themselves
to do everything possible to ensure that the financial
and human resources are available to meet the needs
of the University and to ensure its sustainability for
        generations to come.

He said that 2019, was a pivotal year in the life of the
university as we celebrated our first centennial in the
parish of Manchester, our 20 year being chartered as
                                    th
a university, and enjoying the benefits of institutional
accreditation from the University Council of Jamaica,
which has received certification from the International
        Organization for Standardization (ISO).

Dr Edwards added: “At NCU, we have a deep and
        abiding commitment to whole-person education,
excellence, innovation, spiritual values, and character
        building.”
