The office of Student Services and Spiritual Affairs understands that while students, being products in process, are to be subjected to the rigours of training, they are also end users and must be treated as the valued clients that they are.
We fully embrace the Adventist philosophy of education – the harmonious development of the physical, the mental and the spiritual powers of the individual. A fourth component that we also address is the social dimension of each student. This philosophy informs the multifaceted approach we take in ministering to the needs of our students and the wider university family. Through processes of show and tell and of guided discoveries we lead each student to appreciate the value of service, the need of refined social graces, and the wisdom of acknowledging the sovereignty and grace of God.
