What
is the deadline for applying for graduation?
The
deadline for applications for graduation to be received in the Records
Office is the last day of March in the students’ junior year.
Where
can I get an Application for Graduation form?
This can be
obtained from the Records Office or it can be downloaded
here.
Where
can I get a Graduation Clearance form?
This form
can also be obtained from the Records Office or downloaded
here.
How do I go
about applying for graduation in absentia?
This form
can be obtained from the Office of Academic Administration. It is to be
filled out by the student and approved by his/her chair and College
Dean. The deadline for requesting graduation in absentia is 1 month
before graduation. The cost is 2/3 the regular graduation fee.
What
is a Petition to Receive Incomplete "I" Grade?
This is a
form that a student completes if he/she will be unable to complete the
requirements for a course in the stipulated semester. Incomplete grades
are granted only in an emergency situation beyond a student's control.
The form is to be signed by the student, stating the request; and the
instructor's and department chairman's signature must be obtained. The
form is available in the Office of University Records.
What
are the charges for adding and dropping?
During the first two weeks of any semester,
changes in registration (Add/Drop) will attract a 10%
administrative charge; any change thereafter attracts additional
charges. Ninety percent tuition may be refunded for courses dropped
within the first two weeks of a semester, and sixty percent for those
dropped between two and four weeks. No refund is available
thereafter. No course may be dropped later than two weeks before the
commencement of final examinations.
No fee is
assessed when a change is made necessary by official alterations of the
class schedule.
