Position:Part-Time PBX Operator

The incumbent will, under the direction of the immediate supervisor, receive and transmit telephone calls, respond to general enquiries, and complete and distribute various documents related to these functions.
Qualification and Experience required
Applicants should ideally possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Office Administration, with a minimum of two years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, integrity, dependability, sound judgment, and effective working relationships with students and colleagues.
Speak clearly, distinctly, and with a friendly, courteous tone.

Be familiar with standard office equipment such as personal computer, telephone, photocopier and fax machine.
The Incumbent Should:
Design, illustrate and prepare printing layouts for various annual reports, information pamphlets, instructional aids, brochures, books, newsletters and other departmental publications and printed material
Designs, illustrates and prepares advertising layouts, billboards, posters, exhibits, flyers, letterheads, logos, certificates, forms and other promotional materials.
Creates electronically designed page layouts and imports word processing files into page layouts; may develop web based graphics.
Prepares sketches, renderings, drawings, cover illustrations and various artwork involving mechanical and freehand drawing and lettering.
Coordinates with clients requesting graphic design or layout work; develops ideas, suggests new or modifies existing ideas; demonstrates graphic techniques and advises other departmental personnel on techniques and methods to use.
The incumbent must also have the ability to represent the University professionally and attractively to the public, generate good human relations with and among the workforce, and be well acquainted with, the practice the policies of the University and the Seventh-day Adventist denominational standards, be knowledgeable of, and committed to the philosophy, principles and mission of the Seventh day Adventist Church, and give witness to these values in his/her professional and Christian life
