Position: Data Assessment Coordinator

 

 

Qualifications and Experience Required:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Data Management, Mathematics or Statistics
  • Competence in the use of MS Excel, SPSS, Survey Monkey, Google Docs and database management is highly preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in an educational or research environment is required

 

Job Summary  

The Data Assessment Coordinator will be responsible for the collection, analysis and interpretation of data from all Colleges and Departments of the University; the preparation of annual data assessment reports for internal and external education agencies, assisting with the administration of surveys and questionnaires and assisting the Academic Administration Department with evaluations and assessments.

 

Required Skills or Competencies:

  • Proficient with SPSS /PASW and other data analytical tools.
  • Proficient with statistical analyses testing measure measurements, (such as correlation, regression, cross-tabular, chi-square, and others).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint knowledge are essential.
  • Knowledge of preparing and maintaining computerized databases.
  • Ability to prepare and generate accurate reports.
  • Knowledge and ability to work in Google document, Survey Monkey, Facebook, and other online surveys.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate people, tasks and projects efficiently.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet simultaneous deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential conversation, correspondence and records
