Fee
Graduation fees must be paid to the student’s
account.
The payment fees described below do not
include the gown.
Please note that it is imperative that the
student’s account be correctly updated before payments are made. Please keep
all receipts for proof of payment.

The final date for payment is May 29, 2009.

Graduation fee: $11,500
Package cost: $ 3,000.00 (optional)
Package includes the following:

Palm leaves ($1,000)
· The School Gift ($300)

2008 Graduates
These graduands are required to pay a fee of
$10,666.00. These graduates would receive all items in the package except the
photos since they have already received a photo package in 2008.
Graduating in Absentia
The absentia fee with the total package will
cost: $10,666.00
Absentia Cost: $ 7,666.00
Graduands graduating in Absentia must collect
the “Application for Graduation” form. It must be submitted to the Dean of the
student’s college. The completed form must be submitted to the Office of
University Records at least 1 month prior to Graduation
THE
GRADUATION SUPPLEMENT IN THE GLEANER

Dear Class of 2009,
WHAT:
All of our students who will be graduating in the Commencement Activities
scheduled for this Sunday, August 9, 2009, do not lose out on the opportunity to
have your local church, family members, employers or other well-wishers send
congratulatory messages as advertisements in the NCU/Gleaner Graduation
Supplement where we seek to give you all the exposure.
WHEN:
The Gleaner supplement will be published on Thursday, August 20, 2009
with the deadline for submission and payment of congratulatory advertisements
being Thursday, August 13, 2009.
WHY:
The Gleaner supplement will also be available for viewing on the Gleaner Online
website worldwide... This is very helpful for future employers and
organizations seeking to have additional access to your public presence as a
university graduate.
HOW:
1.
Download the Gleaner Advertising
Commitment Form
from the NCU Graduating Class of 2009 website (link on NCU homepage) or
just print the form which is also attached to this email.
2.
Either you or your well-wishers,
determine what you can afford, then select the option you can afford and its
associated price.
3.
Pay for that option at any Paymaster
islandwide or at the University Cashier to: NCU's, CCMPR income
account number : 1115166158.
4.
Fax, email or bring in the signed
commitment form and proof of payment (receipt) to NCU's office of Corporate
Communications, Marketing & Public Relations (CCMPR) at the Pierson Drive
Complex, Main Campus, Mandeville, Fax to the university's main fax number:

Apart from your signed commitment form
and the receipt we will also need the
following:

the desired
wording for the congratulatory message/ad
-
a standard passport size photograph in your regalia at high resolution , preferably emailed or from a CD or Thumb
drive.... We would prefer not to have to scan your photograph, but will if you
have the picture in no other format.... If your photographs were taken for your
packages, we may be able to source same from Mr. Wiles, but if not, we will be
taking pictures for the Gleaner supplement on
the grass near the Campbell
Complex for Sport Culture sign by the back of the basketball court :

NB.
Remember if there are more than one of you graduating from the same local
church, workplace or family grouping it may be wise to select a congratulatory
advertisement which is large enough to hold one congratulatory statement and the
photographs of each of the persons from that grouping....
